Job summary

Australia-Employment is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage payroll, vendor payments, and balance sheet accounts in a manufacturing/engineering background. This on-site, permanent role in Alafaya, FL requires a strong accounting foundation and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial data, prepare monthly statements, and support budgets and audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and vendor payments.
• Experience handling balance sheet accounts and related reconciliations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely, with all deductions.
• Manage vendor payments and relationships to ensure continuity of services.
• Handle balance sheet accounts such as insurance, rent, and lease.
• Assist in monthly financial statements and reports preparation.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments to align financial operations with policy.
• Assist in annual budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls and confidentiality of information.
• Support audits and implement recommendations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
