We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Assistant to join our engineering team. This permanent role is pivotal in maintaining our company's financial health and making sure all financial transactions are accurate and transparent. You will be responsible for managing payroll, ensuring vendor payments are made in a timely manner, and handling balance sheet accounts such as insurance, rent, and lease. Responsibilities:

• 1. Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all necessary deductions are made.
• 2. Manage timely vendor payments, maintaining good relationships with our suppliers and ensuring continuity of services.
• 3. Handle balance sheet accounts including insurance, rent, and lease, ensuring all payments are accurate and made on time.
• 4. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• 5. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
• 6. Work closely with other departments to ensure all financial operations align with company policies.
• 7. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• 8. Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls and keeping information confidential.

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering industry.
• 3. Strong knowledge of payroll processing, vendor payments, and balance sheet accounts.
• 4. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• 5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• 6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
• 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 9. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• 10. High level of integrity and professionalism.
