Job summary

Bell Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting & Payroll Manager to lead weekly and biweekly payroll processing for multiple entities across states using a third-party provider.

The role also supports payroll accounting, labor tracking, credit card administration, and continuous oversight of accounting systems and controls. You will collaborate with the Controller and finance team to ensure accurate journal entries, proper coding of labor, timely close processes, and adherence to company

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or related financial operations.
• Experience processing payroll through a third-party payroll provider.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting and journal entries.
• Experience with expense/credit card management platforms; strong Excel and accounting system skills.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines while supporting multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly/biweekly payroll for multiple companies and states.
• Collect, review, and validate time, deductions, and payroll data; resolve issues.
• Review payroll reports for accuracy and maintain payroll records.
• Prepare and post payroll journal entries and related accounting transactions.
• Ensure labor is coded to jobs, departments, and cost codes.
• Administer the company's credit card program and related expenses.
• Monitor credit card transactions and ensure proper coding and compliance.
• Support day-to-day accounting system oversight and improvements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and internal reporting.
