QuantumScape is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage the bi-weekly payroll for 800+ employees, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with Senior Payroll leadership to implement efficient processes and maintain strong internal controls in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires multi-state payroll expertise, advanced Excel, and experience with ADP Workforce Now, SAP, and SuccessFactors. On-site work four days per week is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience in U.S. publicly traded, high-growth companies with 600+ employees.
• Experience with payroll systems for medium to large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll and tax issues to ensure compliance.
• Proficiency with financial record-keeping and payroll accounting concepts.
• Extensive experience with multi-state garnishment and wage levy processing.
• Advanced MS Excel and office suite skills; ability to manage multiple systems.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, SAP, SuccessFactors, and TAM.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP.

Aufgaben

• Process end-to-end bi-weekly payroll for 800+ employees with compliance to federal and multi-state regulations.
• Administer garnishments, levies, manual checks/adjustments, and LOA payment integrations.
• Audit timekeeping records for accuracy before payroll processing.
• Develop and maintain payroll controls and wage-hour compliance.
• Prepare and maintain payroll reports, including regulatory filings.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and resolve issues timely.
• Process payroll related to stock activities and equity transactions.
• Assist with quarter-end and year-end tax reconciliation and reporting.
• Stay current with payroll laws and regulations; participate in trainings.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with payroll postings.
