Job summary

Quantum Leap is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Virginia offices. The role supports semi-monthly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across payroll processes.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of payroll experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to company policies. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits at our Leesburg/McLean

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' hands-on payroll experience using an enterprise payroll system.
• Experience with Paylocity and/or UKG systems is ideal.
• Strong accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll on semi-monthly and monthly schedules.
• Support payroll audits and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Process lifecycle changes: hires, terminations, promotions.
• Review expense reports promptly.
• Maintain organized payroll files and documentation.
• Assist with benefits and deductions tracking.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting on payroll matters.
• Authorize payroll invoices, including health benefits and 401k invoices.
• Ensure onboarding, payroll, and administration systems (ADP, UKG, Paylocity) are updated and automate processes as applicable.
• Handle 401k and HSA vendor file maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
