Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Payroll Accountant in Virginia to process payroll corrections in Costpoint, reconcile labor, and audit deductions. The role supports W-2 year-end activities and new hire orientation.

Required are U.S. citizenship and at least 2 years of payroll experience in government contracting, plus strong Excel and accounting knowledge. A Bachelor's in Business or Accounting is preferred. On-site role with full benefits.

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 2 years payroll experience in government contracting.
• Detailed oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills (Excel).
• Knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to create journal entries and reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Process labor corrections in Costpoint and reconcile labor each payroll cycle.
• Conduct monthly audits of benefit deductions and process quarterly disability benefits.
• Monitor timesheet floor checks, prepare GL account reconciliations, and assist with year-end W-2 tasks.
• Provide backup for semi-monthly labor, leave, and payroll processing; assist with new hire orientation.
