Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll processing for full-time and part-time staff at its Fairfax, VA headquarters. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional payroll processing and timekeeping experience, preferably in government contracting.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Paycor payroll software.
• Solid understanding of DCAA labor compliance, FLSA, and multi-state payroll taxation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation.
• High discretion with sensitive data and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review timesheets twice a month for accuracy and DCAA compliance.
• Track, calculate, and process labor adjustments as needed.
• Onboard new employees, terminate, and update employee information in Paycor.
• Administer and process monthly payroll for full-time and part-time staff.
• Perform monthly payroll reconciliations for both payrolls.
• Calculate COLA and housing payments for PCS employees in the UK and AUS.
• Support audits with accurate labor distribution reports and payroll tax documentation.
• Handle special projects as required.
