Job summary

Billtrust is seeking a Manager, Solutions Consulting - Payments to lead a high-performing team of Payment Sales Executives, driving organic revenue growth across the existing Billtrust customer base and new logo efforts, using AI tools to analyze pipeline and coach the team.

You will partner with VP of Solutions Consulting, sales leadership, payment operations, marketing, and product to scale payment processing (ACH and Card Merchant Services) and define how AI makes every seller more effective.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading sales or pre-sales teams.
• 7+ years selling and/or supporting B2B payments, Merchant Services, and/or AR solutions.
• Direct sales/pre-sales experience in payments with ROI analyses.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive presence.
• Willing to travel ~20%.
• Experience driving AI adoption to improve team productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Payment Sales Executives and manage recruiting pipeline.
• Define and manage team metrics using AI dashboards and co-worker agents to track activity and revenue progress.
• Evaluate team members and handle day-to-day activities such as scheduling, expenses, and PTO.
• Partner with sales leadership, payment strategy, marketing, and product to define GTM strategy for payments revenue growth.
• Maintain up-to-date market expertise in B2B payments and enablement content.
• Identify internal process improvements and align resources for deal cycles.
