Job summary

Ingenico is seeking a Software Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support for terminal applications and integrations. You will work across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS environments, diagnosing connectivity issues and supporting customers, partners, and developers with timely solutions.

You will analyze logs, traces and EMV data, and contribute to improving tools, processes and knowledge sharing. Strong collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting across software, payment terminals and integrated payment solutions.
• Experience supporting Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS environments.
• Diagnosing communication and connectivity issues involving USB, Ethernet (TCP/IP, TLS), Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth.
• Log analysis, trace review, debugging and root cause analysis using tools like Wireshark.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of conveying complex tech to varied audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, manage stakeholder expectations and resolve complex issues.
• Experience documenting support activities, creating status reports and delivering training when needed.
• Knowledge of payment technologies, POS systems, EMV, cryptography and financial messaging is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve software, performance, and communication issues affecting payment terminals and solutions.
• Analyze application logs, traces, EMV data and source code to identify root causes and deliver timely solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, partners, and developers integrating Ingenico solutions.
• Support applications on Android, Windows, Linux and iOS platforms, ensuring reliable and secure processing.
• Develop troubleshooting tools, utilities and internal apps to improve efficiency and support quality.
• Validate and triage incoming support requests for accurate escalation and efficient resolution.
