Georgetown University in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Manager of Payments and Settlement to lead daily payment settlement, cancel erroneous payments, and reissue unclaimed funds to suppliers. The role ensures accurate recording in the General Ledger and procurement system.

You will collaborate with the Office of Accounts Payable and other campus stakeholders, manage supplier refunds, and serve as a knowledge resource on Procure-to-Pay processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years professional experience in an accounts payable office.
• Strong analytic skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily payment settlement and accuracy.
• Cancel erroneous payments and reissue unclaimed payments to suppliers.
• Oversee supplier refunds and ensure proper GL accounting.
• Serve as knowledge resource for Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay.
• Collaborate with suppliers and procurement to communicate payment timing.
