Job summary

Health Payment Systems, Inc. seeks a Manager of Financial Operations to lead payments operations, settlements, and reconciliation across HPS, PayMedix, and TempoPay. This role focuses on scalable workflows, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Product, and Compliance.

The position reports to the COO and offers a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in Milwaukee) with potential for remote work outside Wisconsin. Competitive compensation and broad benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payments operations experience including ACH, card payments, settlement and reconciliation.
• Proven track record in scaling payment operations, reconciliation, and controls in high-volume environments.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle of payment processing across multiple brands; drive execution and settlements.
• Lead collections strategies and vendor management to improve performance and scalability.
• Define SLAs with payment processors and banks; monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs; partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Compliance for modernization.
