Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Manager of Payments and Settlements to oversee daily payment processing and settlement for suppliers in a hybrid work environment. The role requires accurate handling of cancellations, reissues, and refunds, ensuring proper GL accounting and procurement system entries.

You will interact with the Accounts Payable team, procurement staff, and other stakeholders across campuses to resolve payment issues and support financial reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in an accounts payable office.
• Strong analytic skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and settle payments accurately and timely.
• Cancel erroneous payments and reissue unclaimed or misdelivered payments to suppliers.
• Oversee supplier repayments to ensure proper General Ledger accounting and procurement system recording.
• Serve as a knowledge resource for Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay stakeholders.
