Job summary

Citi Dublin seeks a Development Lead to drive techno-functional leadership and architecture for a fraud detection and payments platform. You will guide cross-functional teams, design end-to-end payment workflows, and ensure compliance with ISO 20022 and legacy formats.

The role demands strong Java/Spring Boot expertise, real-time messaging, and a track record in payments risk management. This is a full-time on-site position with hybrid options and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance technology, or related field.
• 10+ years in Payments Domain with at least 6+ years in techno-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead techno-functional discussions, architect end-to-end payment flows and mentor a Dev team.
• Design end-to-end payment processing workflows for fraud detection and payments platforms.
• Drive architecture reviews, ensure standards alignment (ISO 20022, SWIFT).
• Oversee integration of payment engines with fraud risk scoring platforms.
• Guide delivery, agile execution, and non-functional requirements like performance and availability.
