Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own the LATAM regional payments portfolio. You will define the strategy, drive the roadmap across Brazil and Mexico, and partner with Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Finance to meet local regulatory requirements.

You will optimize checkout, expand local payment methods, and lead cross-functional teams to improve conversion and reduce friction. English required; Portuguese/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in payments or financial products.
• Strong understanding of payments stack across payins, payouts, and funds flow.
• Experience with local LATAM payment methods and BNPL/installments.
• Data-driven with KPI definition, experiments, and analytics.
• Strong product thinking with user empathy and cross-functional collaboration.
• English required; Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for regional payments across Brazil, Mexico, and the broader region.
• Optimize checkout and conversion to lift payment success rates.
• Expand local payment methods and affordability options.
• Drive full product lifecycle with discovery, PRDs, launches, and iterations.
• Define integration requirements with engineering and partnerships.
• Lead regulatory/compliance workstreams with Legal, Tax, Compliance and Finance.
• Define and track KPIs for conversion, cost, reliability, and revenue.
• Monitor market changes and translate into the roadmap.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Compliance/Legal, Partnerships, and Country teams.
