Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a PAYMENTS OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR to support ACH and Wires processing and improve operational efficiency. The role entails coordinating system testing, managing outages, and communicating with stakeholders to enhance member experiences.

The position requires 4+ years in financial services and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Exempt, reports to the Treasury/Wire Operations manager, and carries a pay scale of $70,450 to $73,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in financial services with 2-3+ years in operations.
• Experience with business banking systems a plus.
• Knowledge of credit union operations or payments is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with internal/external stakeholders; implement enhancements and serve as project SME.
• Manage and review system access; support controls, testing, and disaster recovery activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop compliant, user-friendly workflows.
• Identify process efficiencies using robotics/automation; draft project requirements.
• Develop procedures, training materials, and member communications; coordinate notices.
• Support reporting requests; review financials and KPIs to guide platform growth.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and internal controls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
