Job summary

Mutual Bancorp and its Subsidiaries is seeking a Payments Operations Supervisor to lead daily supervision, workflow coordination, and service quality across payments activities including ACH, wires, checks, and instant payment channels.

The role requires strong leadership, risk awareness, and collaboration with Compliance, IT, and business lines to strengthen efficiency and resilience while ensuring secure, compliant payment processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent banking experience.
• Minimum five years of banking/payment operations experience.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• If not already held, at least one applicable certification must be obtained within an agreed‑upon time.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of assigned team members, including work assignments, coaching, performance feedback, scheduling, training oversight, quality review, and participation in hiring and performance management.
• Oversee Payments Operations staff including Team Leads, Specialists, and other personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development planning.
• Manage staffing schedules and cross‑training activities to balance workload.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and bank policies.
• Monitor production queues, workflows, and operational priorities; support audits and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to improve customer experience and efficiency.
• Monitor SLAs and prepare operational reports for leadership.
