Job summary

ABNB Federal Credit Union is seeking a Lead Payment Processor to serve as the senior subject matter expert for ACH, wire, and check processing within Operations. You will guide staff, ensure accurate processing, and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting improvements and risk management.

The role emphasizes operational leadership, training, and cross-team collaboration to advance payment services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent, or certification/training, as listed in requirements.
• AAP Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• ACH Operations & Risk Management: act as SME for ACH processing and research requests.
• Instant Payment Operations: support wire transfers and instant payment channels.
• Check Processing & Exception Management: handle ATM, RDC, and check exceptions.
• Operational Leadership & Knowledge Resource: provide guidance and training to staff.
• Compliance & Process Improvement: stay current with payment regulations and improve processes.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
