Job summary

La Capitol Federal Credit Union currently has an opening for an Operations Processor II at the Main Office. This role reviews and processes electronic funds transfers (EFT), automated clearing house (ACH), sharedraft, chargebacks, remote deposit capture (RDC) files, and post manual payroll.

The Operations Processor II also monitors negative balance and charged-off accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with policy.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent plus three years of financial experience or training.
Experience in ACH, EFT file processing, and check clearing is required.

Responsibilities

Post ACH, EFT, and Sharedraft files and review each exception to determine posting or return.
Process reclamations as received.
Receive employee and vendor expense requests and process through the fed.
Notify members of needed deposits for LaOops participation.
Pull NSF reports and charge NSF fees to member accounts as needed.
Work Remote Deposit Capture hourly and ensure proper processing.
Research items that kick out for review.
Post RDC files to La Cap’s core system and run Keystone/Check Hold reports.
Review and post manual payrolls promptly on receipt.
Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wires daily.
Process ACH Stop Payments and handle posting adjustments.
Maintain confidentiality of member information and assist with audits.
