The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. seeks a Payments Operations Specialist to support our products and services, ensuring transactions are processed with the highest quality and timeliness.

The role requires working a set schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for customers, with hours 9 AM–7 PM on select days; overtime and weekend/holiday hours may be required. Responsibilities include settlements, inquiries, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' practical work experience in a business-related field.
• Experience in Banking or Financial institutions and weekend coverage ability.
• Experience with Mainframe and Windows Distributed Systems environments.
• Ability to manage competing time-sensitive priorities and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of clearing and settlement functions and card network standards (EMV).

Responsabilités

• Execute all bank settlements and cut-offs in a timely manner.
• Respond to inquiries promptly with accurate information.
• Maintain procedural documentation and support in-house applications.
• Address NACHA/ECCHO standards inquiries and settlement reconciliation for CHIPS, ACH, SVPCO, RTP.
• Escalate as needed and participate in weekend testing and ad hoc projects.
