Job summary

SFE is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Payments Operations team in Research Triangle Park, NC. The role focuses on payment investigations, reconciliations, and maintaining strong operational controls with regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will work with internal stakeholders and external financial institutions to resolve inquiries, analyze costs, and drive process improvements using Lean methodologies. Strong Excel and reporting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented candidate for payment processing and investigations.
• Knowledge of SWIFT payments, reconciliations, and correspondent banking operations.
• Experience with cost analysis, budgeting, and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to reduce costs and eliminate waste.
• Track and analyze operational expenses and KPIs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop reports and dashboards for management visibility.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on OpEx initiatives.
• Maintain SOPs, KPI reports, and improvement trackers.
• Prepare data for governance reviews.
