Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Operations Analyst to analyze day-to-day issues, perform research, and provide resolution for matters within a business unit. You will support defined procedures, run routine analytics, and create reports while handling exception processing.

Responsibilities include learning payment processing flows, navigating multiple systems, and coordinating implementations for products and services. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with Wires or research and analysis experience in a production environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service.
• Risk and resolve experience.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ownership and accountability for delivering high quality work.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, adapt, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to production standards set internally within the business unit, while executing procedures and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Learn and understand payment processing, including the lifecycle and format of a wire, the wire transfer product, and wire settlement flows.
• Navigate multiple processing applications during research and exception processing.
• Adapt to and effectively execute procedural, system, and operational changes within wire processing functions.
• Assist with coordination of implementation for products, services, and operational solutions.
• Support the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services.
• Provide guidance regarding procedural, technical, and operational changes.
• Expand business products knowledge within operations environment.
• Build networks by developing relationships with partners and teammates.
• Inspect data to identify issues and trends.
• Collect and interpret data to validate operational processes.
