Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Payments & eCommerce Lead to shape the strategy, governance, and performance of its payment ecosystem. The role covers budgeting, vendor relationships, and compliance across a nationwide operation.

Flexible US location with leadership responsibilities, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize payments, improve security, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience leading payment strategy, platform ownership, financial analysis, vendor management, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for payment acceptance and disbursement capabilities, incl. cards, ACH, digital wallets, and emerging rails.
• Establish and ensure payment operations, reporting procedures, controls, and standards; support org objectives.
• Lead financial analysis, business case development, and reporting related to payment performance and costs.
• Direct staff engaged in payment operations and reporting; own relationships with processors and vendors.
