Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Payments & eCommerce Lead to drive strategy, governance, and performance of the organization’s payment ecosystem. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• MBA or other relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for payment acceptance and disbursement capabilities, including cards, ACH, digital wallets, alternative payment methods, and emerging payment rails.
• Establish and ensure payment operations, reporting procedures, controls, and standards support organizational objectives and comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Lead financial analysis, business case development, and reporting related to payment performance, costs, settlement, fraud, and vendor economics.
• Develop and manage payment-related planning, budgets, reporting, and operational plans.
• Direct employees engaged in payment operations and reporting.
• Own relationships with payment processors, gateways, fraud providers, and disbursement vendors, including vendor selection, contracting, performance management, and issue resolution.
• Direct initiatives to improve payment performance, operational efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Information Security, Legal, Technology, and Line of Business stakeholders to support payment strategy, controls, and operations.
• Review and prepare data analyses related to operations, business performance, and business opportunities for senior leadership.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to staff, volunteers, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead RFP for services which involve e-commerce and related services.
