Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Payments & eCommerce Lead to drive the strategy and governance of the organization’s payment ecosystem. The role oversees budgeting, vendor relations, and performance reporting, guiding cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and compliance.

Location is flexible within the United States; the role requires strategic leadership, vendor management, and strong financial analysis to support treasury objectives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• MBA or other relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for payment acceptance and disbursement capabilities, including cards, ACH, digital wallets, and emerging rails.
• Establish payment operations, reporting, controls, and standards to support organizational objectives and comply with regulations.
• Lead financial analysis, business case development, and reporting related to payment performance, costs, settlement, and vendor economics.
• Develop and manage payment-related planning, budgets, reporting, and operational plans.
• Direct employees engaged in payment operations and reporting; own relationships with payment processors and vendors.
