Landmark Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a detail‑oriented Payments Clerk to support the daily processing of checks and related member transactions. This role reports to the manager of the Payments function and involves high volumes, light reception duties, and collaboration with Purchasing as needed.

You will handle mobile and remote deposits, communicate with members, balance the department end of day, and maintain confidentiality while following policy and regulatory requirements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to process high volumes accurately and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience with or ability to learn required software and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Processes checks received daily, including opening mail, posting payments, scanning work, and preparing deposits.
• Processes mobile and remote deposits by members via electronic channels; verifies deposits.
• Sends correspondence to members regarding payments.
• Assists with balancing and closing the department daily.
• Occasionally fills in at the reception desk, greets visitors, maintains logs.
• Assists Purchasing with duties like verifying counts, stocking, and fulfilling orders.
• Occasionally picks up mail and payments from local post office.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
