Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to process high volumes accurately and efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Experience with or ability to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to use independent judgment in various situations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process checks received daily, including opening and sorting mail, posting payments, scanning work, and preparing checks for deposit.
• Process mobile and remote deposits performed by members via electronic channels and verify deposits for accuracy.
• Send correspondence to members regarding their payments as needed.
• Assist with balancing and closing the department at the end of the business day.
• Occasionally fill in at the reception desk, greet visitors, maintain the visitor log, and direct deliveries.
• Assist Purchasing with duties such as counting incoming office supplies and stocking/fulfilling orders.
• Occasionally pick up mail and payments from the local post office.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
