Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a personable and tech‑savvy specialist to install, configure, and deploy Stripe, Equinox, and Verifone payment devices across multiple sites. You will handle device staging, firmware upgrades, and configuration management while troubleshooting connectivity and transaction issues.

You’ll coordinate with network and security teams, provide remote and on-site support, and maintain inventory and documentation to ensure smooth operations and compliance with SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting Stripe, Equinox, and Verifone payment devices.
• Knowledge of firmware upgrades and configuration management.
• Proficiency with Windows 11 and desktop troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) for device connectivity.
• Ability to provide remote and on-site technical support and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy payment devices including Stripe, Equinox, and Verifone terminals.
• Perform device staging, firmware upgrades, software updates, and configuration management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and transaction issues on payment devices.
• Manage devices through centralized portals and ensure connectivity to payment processing systems.
• Provide remote and on-site support to locations including airports and branches.
• Coordinate with network/server/security teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Maintain spare inventory, depot stock, asset records, and device lifecycle documentation.
• Procure, stock, and manage payment and IT hardware components.
• Dispatch devices to locations and track deployment status.
• Monitor device health and ensure compliance with standards.
• Work with vendors and OEMs for escalations and RMAs.
• Adhere to SLA, incident, and change management processes.
• Create and update SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Support business continuity by keeping payment devices operational.

Salary Range-$60,000-$80,000 a year
