Corpay is hiring a Payment Processor II for the Paymerang division in Big Stone Gap, VA. You will manage payments needing follow-up and resolve escalated issues while supporting team training and process improvements.

You will report to the Operations Manager and work with Enrollment, Client Success, and Payment Processing teams to ensure timely, accurate payments and a smooth customer experience.

Qualificações

• 2–4 years of experience in payment processing.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Contact vendors by phone and email to resolve outstanding payments not completed on the first attempt.
• Manage escalated payment issues such as misapplied payments or difficult-to-complete transactions.
• Communicate with clients as needed to resolve unsettled payments.
• Use sound judgment to determine when to cancel, reissue, or refund a payment.
• Reconcile payments prior to reissuing or refunding.
• Collaborate across Operations teams to improve workflow and communication.
• Identify payment processing trends to mitigate risk, improve efficiency, and provide recommendations to management.
• Answer inbound calls in the Payments queue.
• Support first-touch payment processing when needed.
• Conduct side-by-side training sessions with new hires.
• Participate in special projects such as vendor research, payment instruction creation, or proactive enrollment efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Payment Processor II within our Paymerang division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Big Stone Gap, VA. In this role, you will manage payments that require follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. You will also handle escalated or complex payment issues, provide feedback for process improvements, and assist in training new members of the Payments team. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with Operations teams, including Enrollment, Client Success, and Payment Processing.

Role Responsibilities

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50, based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
