Job summary

Sunrise, FL-based facility seeks a Payment Posting Specialist to manage posting and balancing daily payments, reconcile with bank deposits, and resolve discrepancies. Requires advanced Excel skills and detail orientation, with ability to collaborate across AR, Billing, and Customer Service teams. This full-time, hourly role reports to the Sr.

Manager of Revenue Cycle Services. Experience in payment posting or related financial functions is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in payment posting, accounts receivable, billing or cash applications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to research and resolve payment and account discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments received via checks, ACH, EFT, credit cards, lockbox deposits and other methods.
• Apply payments, adjustments, credits, refunds, and contractual allowances to accounts.
• Review remittance information and supporting docs for accuracy.
• Research and resolve unapplied payments, overpayments, underpayments, and posting discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily payment activity to bank deposits and remittance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of payment posting and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate with AR, Billing, Customer Service and others to resolve issues.
