Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is seeking a Payment Poster to join our Central Billing team in Fort Myers. The role focuses on posting payments, handling denials, and maintaining accurate patient accounts with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has two years’ experience in a high-volume medical office, strong data-entry accuracy, and solid customer service skills. Work days are Monday through Friday, with standard daytime scheduling in a clinical billing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Retrieve batched EOBs and post payments, write-downs, and balance to patient accounts using Medical Manager software.
• Post denials and no-pays in a timely manner.
• Produce a daily operator report and balance posted items at End of workday.
• Produce posting to meet departmental needs.
• Inform team leader or billing manager of changes and updates concerning collections or payments.
• Assist other office personnel as workload permits.

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Payment Poster to join our Central Billing team in Fort Myers. Schedule is Monday through Friday, Day Shift.

Sample of Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous and helpful) to both our internal and external customers
• Retrieves batched EOBs from mail room clerk and accurately posts payments, makes write downs and transfers balances to corresponding patients’ account via computer and Medical Manager software.
• Posts denials and no pays in a timely manner.
• Produces a daily operator report and balances posted items to a report at End of workday.
• Produces an acceptable amount of posting to meet departmental needs.
• Informs the team leader or billing manager and other employees of any changes and updates concerning the collection or payments of accounts.
• Assists other office personnel in the performance of their duties as assigned and as workload permits.
