Job summary

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our Adult Medicine division. You will welcome patients, handle payments, verify insurance, and route inquiries to the Financial Counselor.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of medical office experience, strong attention to detail, HIPAA knowledge, and the ability to build rapport with patients and providers. Monday through Friday schedule with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• One year of medical office experience or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of insurance, referrals, and eligibility.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to develop rapport with providers, staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Receive, code, post patient payments, issue receipts, and process credit card transactions
• Assist patients with account/balance questions or provides referral to Financial Counselor
• Maintain accurate deposit information to include reports and encounter forms
• Reconcile daily cash and maintains balances each day
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our Adult Medicine division in Fort Myers. Monday through Friday.

• Receive, code, post patient payments, issue receipts, and process credit card transactions
• Assist patients with account/balance questions or provides referral to Financial Counselor
• Maintain accurate deposit information to include reports and encounter forms

To be Successful – You Need:

• Knowledge of clinical cash payment policies and procedures
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must
• One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience needed
