Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Onalaska, WI is seeking a Payment and Charge Posting Specialist to support accurate medical billing. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift, offering a hybrid work option after training and a starting wage of $19.05/hour with potential for higher based on experience.

Strong customer service, attention to detail and knowledge of medical billing are essential as you contribute to efficient revenue cycle operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of defined core competency testing for Payment and Charge Posting Specialists within 90 days of employment
• 1 year of office, insurance or medical facility experience
• Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills

What’s Available

• Fulltime, 40 hours/weekly (1.0 FTE)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM -3:30 PM
• Location: Onalaska, WI, hybrid eligible after training

What You’ll Need
