Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Payable Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT to ensure accurate, timely supplier payments while maintaining policy compliance. You will support AP operations, process invoices and requisitions, and manage vendor setup/updates in AP systems.

You will perform PO matching, GL coding, reconciliations, and use reporting tools to manage workloads, troubleshoot discrepancies, and communicate professionally with internal teams and suppliers to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with AP processes, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Experience supporting or training users on accounting systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Solid communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in administrative and clerical tasks.
• Ability to interpret financial data, policies, and systems.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payable Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT. Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for accurate, timely processing of supplier payments while ensuring compliance with company policies. You will deliver strong customer service, support AP operations, and ensure vendors are paid correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities:

• Payable Specialist will process invoices, requisitions, and vendor setup/updates accurately in AP systems
• Perform PO matching, GL coding, reconciliations, and transaction processing
• Use reporting tools to manage workload and identify issues
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies independently
• As a Payable Specialist, you will ensure accurate financial records through calculations, posting, and verification
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders and provide customer support
• Manage workload to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with policies
• Support training, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
