Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum 6 years milling and paving experience with at least 2 years in a Superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required (or enrolled in course within 6 months of hire).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical proficiency in milling and paving operations.
• Plans and organizes work to maximize crew productivity; sets staffing and schedules.
• Monitors performance against plans, budgets, and production rates, ensuring safety and quality.
• Supervises field managers, mentors crews, and optimizes equipment utilization.
• Reviews job cost with project leaders and implements adjustments as needed.
• Follows safety programs and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Inspects work to ensure quality standards and maintains relationships with owner, engineer, and team.
• Coordinates with asphalt plants, trucking dispatchers, and MOT teams to maintain safety and scheduling.
