Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Paving Superintendent with strong milling and paving knowledge and demonstrated leadership to join our heavy civil team. You will mentor field managers, optimize crew productivity, coordinate with owners and engineers, and drive safe, efficient execution on projects that matter to communities.

Candidates should have at least 6 years milling and paving experience, a high school diploma or GED, an OSHA 30-hour certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 6+ years milling/paving experience with superintendent exposure.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in milling and paving operations.
• Understands project plans, estimates, budgets and production rates.
• Plans work, staffing and schedules to maximize productivity and safety.
• Supervises field managers; mentors crews and optimizes equipment use.
• Reviews job costs with project leaders and implements adjustments.
• Follows safety program and ensures compliance with PPE standards.
• Coordinates with field teams and customers to ensure successful plans.
• Inspects work to ensure quality and adherence to specs.
