Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Paving Superintendent with strong milling and paving knowledge and proven leadership to join our elite civil construction team in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will lead crews, optimize plans, and ensure safety and quality on complex projects.

With 6+ years in milling/paving and at least 2 years in a superintendent role, you will coordinate with field managers, manage costs, and uphold Allan Myers’ safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of milling and paving experience with at least 2 years of Superintendent experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical proficiency in milling and paving operations.
• Plans and organizes work to maximize crew productivity; sets staffing plans for each phase.
• Supervises field managers; mentors/coaches; optimizes equipment utilization.
• Reviews job cost with Project Manager and Field Managers; implements adjustments as needed.
• Follows Safety Program; ensures proper PPE; investigates and reports incidents.
• Coordinates with Field Managers, other Superintendents, and customer to implement project plans.
