Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 years milling/paving experience with at least 2 years in a Superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required or enrolled within 6 months of hire/promotion.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical proficiency in milling and paving operations.
• Understands project plan details, estimates, budgets, and production rates.
• Plans and staffs work to maximize crew productivity and balance safety and quality.
• Supervises field managers; mentors crews and optimizes equipment use.
• Reviews job cost with PM/Field Managers and makes adjustments.
• Follows Allan Myers Safety Program and preplanning for hazards.
• Coordinates with field managers, other superintendents, and customers.
• Inspects construction work to ensure quality standards.
• Manages coordination with asphalt plants, trucking, and MOT teams.
