Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a hard‑working Paving Superintendent with strong milling and paving knowledge and proven leadership.

You will oversee field crews, plan staffing, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time project delivery on heavy civil sites across the Mid‑Atlantic. With 6+ years in milling/paving and 2+ years in superintendent roles, you will coordinate with project teams, manage costs, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 6 years milling and paving experience with at least 2 years in superintendent roles.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or enrollment in course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in milling and paving operations on projects.
• Understands project plans, specs, estimates, budgets and production rates.
• Plans staffing and crews to maximize productivity and safety.
• Supervises field managers; mentors them in leading crews.
• Reviews job cost with PM and field managers; suggests adjustments.
• Follows Allan Myers Safety Program and PPE protocols.
• Coordinates with field managers and customers for successful plans.
• Inspects work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinates with asphalt plants, dispatchers and MOT teams for safety and schedule.
