Job summary

Amrize is hiring Laborers for our Paving crews to perform maintenance, operate equipment, and handle grounds keeping across job and plant sites. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferring experience around heavy equipment or asphalt.

We offer a range of benefits and expect candidates to adhere to safety protocols while working overtime as needed, including Saturdays, on projects that matter in North America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience around heavy equipment, construction or asphalt preferred.
• Basic mechanical and construction knowledge.
• Proven safety record.
• Spanish/English bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain paving housekeeping and ensure equipment runs properly.
• Assist foremen with tasks and follow instructions.
• Shovel, stock piles, and assist customers.
• Safely operate equipment and perform labor duties.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety policies and maintain site housekeeping.
• Work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and crew.
