Job summary

Amrize is hiring Laborers for our paving crews at locations in Colorado. In this role you will perform maintenance, operate equipment, and handle grounds and housekeeping tasks to keep job sites and equipment in top condition.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and a strong safety mindset. Prior experience around heavy equipment or asphalt is preferred, with ability to lift 50 pounds and work overtime including Saturdays. Join Amrize to build North America.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience around heavy equipment or construction
• Basic mechanical and construction knowledge
• Proven safety record
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain paving housekeeping and ensure equipment runs properly
• Assist foremen with tasks and follow instructions
• Shovel out bins and maintain stock piles
• Safely operate equipment and perform labor duties
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Maintain communication with supervisors and crew
• Work overtime including Saturdays as needed
• Promote safety culture and communication with team
