Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a patient-focused Customer Service Information Liaison to support patients, families and visitors as they enter the hospital. You will share accurate service information and work collaboratively with other departments to uphold excellent patient satisfaction.

You will greet guests, guide them, answer calls, assist with scheduling and directions, and help maintain a safe and respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service (1 year+) and communication skills.
• Phone and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors promptly and courteously with accurate information.
• Provides basic patient status information and visiting times.
• Assists with visitor management and scheduling information.
• Manages high volumes of calls and coordinates transportation when needed.
• Distributes PPE to staff, patients and visitors.
