Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Hospitality Concierge for the Washington University Medical Center campus in Missouri. This full-time role focuses on front desk coverage, patient and family guidance, and coordination of non-medical services to enhance the patient experience.

The position requires strong communication skills and a background in hospitality or similar customer-focused work. Responsibilities include supporting care teams, managing desk operations, and assisting with staff

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital concierge services or front desk operations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform front office duties and answer incoming calls.
• Assist patients and families with non-medical guidance and information needs.
• Visit VIPs, follow up after discharge, and ensure excellent patient experience.
• Support orientation and training of new concierge staff and volunteer teams.
• Coordinate services to meet daily patient and family needs within the hospital.
