BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL is seeking a Part Time Concierge Desk Rep to provide information and assistance at the hospital information desks. The role focuses on greeting patients and visitors, delivering hospital information, and escorting guests as needed.

Shifts include early morning hours on specific days, with on-site responsibilities across the medical center. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, clear communication, and the ability to use technology to guide guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• <2 years of experience in service roles.
• No supervisor experience.
• Preferred 2-5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles customer concerns using appropriate service recovery tools and guidelines.
• Provides information regarding the medical center and local area.
• Greets patients and visitors, provides patient and hospital information and escort services to those in need.
• Utilizes technology to appropriately direct guests, visitors and patients throughout hospital campus.
• Assists with patient arrival and departure.

Provides effortless and seamless movement in and out of the medical center as the first impression that patients and visitors experience. Provides coverage of the information desks and interacts with target audiences, internal resources and external vendors.
