The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support certification, with prior patient care experience preferred.

The position involves rounds, patient handoffs, and coordination with clinical staff to optimize throughput and patient satisfaction.

Mansioni

• Rounds the hospital to assess transport inventory and moves equipment to optimize operations and maximize patient throughput.
• Greets and informs patients of move process and identifies patient to ensure comfort and safety.
• Transports patients and their medical charts to departments, conveying empathy and professionalism.
• Notifies receiving department on arrival and conducts thorough handoffs.
• Transports items and specimens as needed and replenishes code carts to departments.
• Responds to equipment issues promptly to maximize availability of equipment.
