Beth Israel Lahey Health Beverly Hospital is seeking a Transporter Messenger for a part-time, 20-hour role. You will move patients, oxygen, medications, and specimens across the facility, using required equipment and documenting all moves in the proper logs.

No experience is required; a High School diploma or equivalent is acceptable, and Basic Life Support certification is required within 90 days of hire. This role includes day shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

• Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Transports patients to specified destinations using required equipment and notifies staff of arrivals and departures.
• Records all transportation data accurately in departmental logs.
• Performs oxygen rounds and replaces tanks as needed, reporting issues to Cardiopulmonary services.
• Transports specimens, medications, and other items, logging delivery information and using PPE as required.
• Returns equipment to storage and assists with equipment maintenance and dispatch tasks.
