Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Escort ambulatory patients and transport by wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Assist nursing staff with moving patients and position them for transport.
• Deliver beds, stretchers and wheelchairs; sanitize equipment and logs.
• Transport patient specimens and other materials according to infection-control guidelines.
• Maintain communication handoffs with receiving units after transport.
