Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. in California is seeking a Transportation Scheduler who coordinates incoming patient transportation requests, compiles encounter data, and supports dispatchers. You will prepare driver schedules for the next day and ensure data quality in the Dispatch system.

This role requires strong multi-tasking, accuracy, and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. High school diploma required; prior dispatching or scheduling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of routing and local area/streets preferred.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills required.
• Data entry proficiency and basic computer literacy expected.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Must make decisions with minimal supervision; prior dispatching helpful.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Schedule incoming patient transportation requests and support dispatchers.
• Compile encounter data materials and enter data into Dispatch systems.
• Prepare driver schedules for the next day and generate data reports.
