Job summary

AltaMed Health Services in Anaheim is hiring for a Transportation Dispatch position. This role schedules incoming patient transportation requests, supports dispatchers, and ensures accurate data entry into our Dispatch systems.

You will prepare driver schedules for the next day, generate clean reports, and assist with data management. A high school diploma and familiarity with routing in the greater Los Angeles area are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong routing knowledge for LA County area preferred.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills required.
• High level of computer literacy and data entry skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Ability to make decisions with minimal supervision; experience in dispatching preferred.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules incoming patient transportation requests and supports dispatchers.
• Compiles encounter data materials and enters patient service data into Dispatch systems.
• Prepares driver schedules for the next day and creates data reports.
• Maintains data quality and supports database management tasks.
