Job summary

Responsibilities

• Responsible for transportation services; receiving incoming/outgoing pick-up calls and scheduling transportation for the same day.
• Coordinate daily transportation for AltaMed patients and participants with PACE centers.
• Assist with other transportation vendors by facilitating information and back-up service when possible.
• Scheduling, routing, record keeping, and auditing to ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure drivers return to base at day end after assignments.
• Provide support to others as needed to meet program deadlines.

Job Overview

• Responsible for transportation services; receiving incoming/outgoing pick-up calls and scheduling transportation services for the same day.
• Communicating with PACE centers to coordinate daily transportation for AltaMed patients and participants.
• Assist with other transportation vendors (e.g., Agape) by facilitating information and back-up service when/if possible.
• Duties include scheduling, routing, record keeping, and auditing to ensure compliance with AltaMed’s policies and procedures.
• The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all drivers are commuting back to base at the end of the day once the assignments are completed.
• The Dispatcher will also ensure compliance with program deadlines and provide support to others as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Experience in health care, preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in dispatch services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, preferred.

Compensation

Compensation $25.00 - $25.00 hourly
