Job summary

Mercy is seeking a hospital Transport Associate to move patients and equipment between departments, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. You will train new co-workers on the Transport process and use Epic to track patient and equipment movement throughout the facility.

Commitment to Mercy’s mission and service standards is essential. The role requires experience in patient transport and customer service, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year transporting experience.
• Two years customer service experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment between hospital departments.
• Train new co-workers on the Transport process.
• Use Epic to track patient and equipment movement.
• Ensure safe transport with proper body mechanics; wear PPE.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across Mercy locations.
